Abstract

This research aims to analyze the messages of da'wah in the book "Islam as a Science" by Kuntowijoyo. This book was chosen because it is one of the monumental works of an Indonesian Muslim intellectual who seeks to convey Islamic teachings in a way that is relevant to modern society. The research methods used are content analysis and hermeneutics to identify the main themes and understand the context and meaning of the da'wah messages conveyed. This research finds that the da'wah messages in the book include aspects of Aqidah (faith), Syariah (Islamic law), and Akhlaq (morality). These messages are comprehensively explained, providing guidance for Muslims on how to live life according to religious teachings. The analysis results show that this book not only conveys religious information but also plays a role in moral education and behavioral change for individuals and society. By analyzing the book "Islam as a Science," this research provides insights into how da'wah can be effectively delivered in a modern context, addressing the challenges of technology and rapid social change. This research is expected to contribute to the development of relevant and efficient da'wah strategies for the present time.
